The UFO Discovery Project is a group aiming to scientifically prove or disprove UFO's. We are a non-profit and plan to have a neutral group to create a scientific investigation into the UFO phenomenon. Unlike other projects, the UFODP isn't going to the government asking for disclosure, we're doing it ourselves. We're planning to put an independent satellite into Geostationary Orbit directly above the earth with two huge banks of camera's each containing many separate cameras acting to give us one 180 degree view. The first bank will be pointing at the earth's surface hoping to catch any UFO's coming from the surface; the second array of camera's will be pointing into space hoping to catch any UFO's flying in the earths surrounding space. All the Camera's will overlap slightly so we'll always be able to get at least two (possibly three) views of the in or outbound object. On board will also be a small telescope that can be utilized to track and obtain a much closer view of the object giving us more visual confirmation of what the UFO is. If by chance it is some sort of craft, as many have claimed, we will have an onboard communication package to try to make “First Contact”.    

Now with the age of the internet and media outlets, we hear of reports world wide still to this day. Even former astronaut’s have come forward and stated that they are real. This question has become a battlefront for believers and sceptics alike. It is time to answer that question once and for all with the technology of today. It will take cooperation from air traffic control, civilians, military and organizations like MUFON and the news media to make this work..
